Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of allegedly taking bribe by the headmaster of basic school N 35 after N. Gogol, giving bribe and bribe mediation.

Pursuant to initial data, in August, 2020 the headmaster of the mentioned school through the parent of the pupil’s classmate demanded 300 USD tantamount to 145.575 AMD as a bribe for not transferring the pupil who had returned from the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia and in 2019 was admitted to the fourth grade with Russian education to the fifth grade with Armenian education. Instead, the pupil’s parent gave 150.000 AMD in total to the parent who had meidated the bribe.

Then on February 16, 2021 the headmaster of the same school invited the parent who had given the bribe to his working woom, told that only 100 USD of the demanded 300 USD had been given to him and demanded 200 USD tantamount to 104.984 USD.

A criminal case was initiated in the Department for Fight against Corruption-related and Economic Crimes of General Department of Criminal Police of the RA Police according to the Part 2 of the Article 311 (taking a bribe), the Part 1 of the Article 312 (giving a bribe) and the Part 1 of the Article 313 (bribery mediation) of RA Criminal Code.

On March 2, 2021 the criminal case was received in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Preliminary investigation is conducted.
