The criminal case initiated in General Department of Fight against Organized Crime of the RA Police on restricting the penetration into the market, forcing the economic subjects out of the market was received today in the proceeding of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.

Pursuant to criminal case data, based on the licenses ՏԿՈւ 00223 given by the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication on 22.01.2008 and ՏԿՈւ 00346 given by the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication on 05.11.2009 LL companies “King Deluxe” and “Trans Comfort” carried out regular transportation by passenger automobile transport of general use on routes Abovyan-Yerevan-Abovyan and Charentsavan-Yerevan-Charentsavan.

On the base of the report submitted by the former owner of the mentioned companies, with the purpose of hindering the activity of the mentioned companies the employees of “Gagik Tsarukyan” charitable foundation, from 2012 to 2016 carried out free passenger transportation on the mentioned routes under the pretext of charity which caused great financial loss to the companies “King Deluxe” and “Trans Comfort”.

As a result, in 2015 the companies “King Deluxe” and “Trans Comfort” were found bankrupt which were then acquired by “Multi Auto Trans” LLC which currently is carrying out regular paid transportation on the mentioned routes.

Considering that the materials prepared on the base of the report apparently contain crime elements envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 195 of RA Criminal Code – restriction of competition which is meant to force other economic subjects out of the market, on August 20, 2018 a criminal case was initiated and was sent to General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.

On August 22, 2018 the criminal case was received in the proceeding of the RA IC General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases and necessary investigatory actions are conducted to verify the circumstances mentioned in the report.

Appropriate procedural decision will be made based on the obtained evidence and additional information about it will be provided.
