A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on armed assault committed against «Vivaro Bet» bookmaker center.

On September 4, 2018 a call was received from Nor Nork Division of General Department of State Protection of the RA Police informing that armed and masked assault was committed against «Vivaro Bet» bookmaker center located at 410/3 Safaryan Street of Avan administrative district.

Pursuant to preliminary investigation data, on the day of the incident at about 01:35 the masked person having committed the alleged crime entered «Vivaro Bet» bookmaker center and threatening with weapon swindled 200.000 AMD from the employee and fled.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

Necessary investigatory and operative-searching measures are taken to find the circumstances of the case, to identify the person having committed the alleged crime.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
