In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of squandering and embezzlement in particularly large amount committed by abuse of authority by the former director of «Hrazdan» medical center were found out. The latter was involved as a suspect.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation the former director of «Hrazdan» medical center, holding the mentioned position from 1988 to 2017, abusing his authority, registered employees in medical center and paid salary while the mentioned employees did not attend work, signing contracts on not provided services and withdrawing money from medical center, inflating the volume of renovation actually done as well as in other ways he swindled money in particularly large amount causing pecuniary damage of particularly large amount to the state.

During preliminary investigation the damage caused to the state by the former director of «Hrazdan» medical center - 11.560.000 AMD was recovered which was transferred to the RA IC deposit account.

The latter was involved as a suspect within the criminal case, signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
