In the result of investigative and other procedural actions as well as measures taken jointly with the employees of the RA Police within the criminal case investigated in Goris Investigative Division of Syunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of hindering the employee of cultural center to participate in pre-election campaign were found out.  

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation, the director of Cultural Center operating in Goris community, having organizational-managerial, administrative functions, using his official position as well as the circumstance of employees’ official dependence from him, forced the librarian and other employees of the same center to participate in the pre-election campaign organized by “Armenia” alliance on June 7, 2021. Then on June 15, 2021 he hindered the librarian to participate in the meeting organized by the party “Civil Contract” threatening to dismiss from job.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the director of the cultural center according to the Points 1 and 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 149.1 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
