In the result of investigative and other procedural actions conducted in the Division of Investigation of Grave Crimes of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of murder attempt committed by a firearm in the parking lot of the cemetery located at the area adjacent to Davit Bek Street of Yerevan on January 13, 2021 at about 14:00 were found out.

On the base of the evidence obtained during preliminary investigation a decision was made to involve five persons as a defendant.

Signature not to leave was used as a pretrial measure against one of them, detention – against four of them and search was declared.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
