In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of voting instead of other persons in polling station N 8/31 were found, the persons having committed the apparent crime were identified. On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the head of the precinct electoral commission.
 

Through preliminary investigation conducted in the framework of the criminal case it was grounded that during referendum on Constitutional reforms held on December 6, 2015 the head of precinct electoral commission voted instead of two voters involved in voters list of polling station N 8/31.
 

According to obtained data the head of precinct electoral commission V. Torosyan filled in random passport data before two voters’ names, signed, sealed in the voters’ list and voted.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against V. Torosyan according to the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code.
 

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
