In the First Semester of 2024, within Criminal Proceedings Investigated in the RA Investigative Committee, about 24 billion 828 million AMD or Amount by 54% more than in the First Semester of 2023, Recovered
The RA Investigative Committee has summed up the results recorded in the first semester of 2024 aimed at recovery of the pecuniary damage caused and found out within the criminal proceedings investigated in all the subdivisions of the Committee.
According to it, it was found out that during the first six months of 2024 the pecuniary damage caused within the criminal proceedings, preliminary investigation of which has been completed, was 14.828.540.000 AMD, in total, 5.190.484.000 AMD of which has been recovered, as compared with 2 billion 735 million AMD recovered in the same period of 2023.
Namely, within the proceedings, preliminary investigation of which has been completed, the indicators of 2024 have doubled.
Moreover, 4.892.108.000 AMD recovered within the completed criminal proceedings is pecuniary damage caused to the state.
Besides the above-mentioend, as of June 30, 2024, 19.637.784.000 AMD has been recovered within the ongoing criminal proceedings, 19.457.993.000 AMD of which is the amount of the receovery of the damage caused to the state.
So, in the first semester of 2024, within the completed and ongoing criminal proceedings 24.828.268.000 AMD, in total, has been recovered, 24.350.101.000 AMD of which is the recovery of the damage caused to the state.
Out of the mentioned 24.350.101.000 AMD 20.539.865.000 has been recovered within the criminal proceedings investigated on tax evasion, 17.507.427.000 AMD of which was within proceedings investigated in General Department of Investigation of Smuggling and Economic Crimes of the RA Investigative Committee, 3.032.438.000 AMD was within the criminal proceedings investigated in General Department on Special Assignments, particularly, within the framework of the proceedings regarding the evasion of taxes in particularly large amount using a criminal scheme in the field of alcoholic beverages production.
It is noteworthy that the indicator of the recovery of the damage caused to the state, exceeds almost twice as much as the results in 2023 (about 9 billion AMD), particularly within the proceedings completed and investigated in General Department of Investigation of Smuggling and Economic Crimes of the RA Investigative Committee.
In general, the mentioned result of the recovery of the damage caused in the first semester of 2024, within the criminal proceedings investigated in the RA Investigative Committee, is by 8 billion 525 million AMD or about 54% more as compared with the same period of 2023 (15 billion 825 million AMD).
