In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated on capturing money in particularly large amount from “Converse Bank” CJSC branch another crime case was revealed.

In the result of the search in the flat of the driver of taxi service conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated on capturing money in particularly large amount from “Converse Bank” CJSC branch narcotic drugs of “Marijuana” type of 16.08 grams, as well as rifle of “AKM” model of factory production, sport gun of 5.6 mm of factory production, 118 bullets of several calibers was found.

A separate criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 268 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence on October 17 charge was pressed against 38 year-old resident of Yerevan for illegal procurement, keeping of weapon and ammunition, as well as for illegal turnover of narcotic drugs without the purpose of selling. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to find the source of acquisition of weapon, drugs, as well as to find his possible relation to the assault committed in “Converse Bank” CJSC branch.
