In the framework of the criminal case, initiated on preparation of mass disorder, Aram Hakobyan detained
In the framework of the criminal case, investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee initiated on preparation of mass disorder in places where public events are due to be held on April 24, 2015, the resident of Gyumri Aram Hakobyan was detained.
Taking the public interest into consideration, we inform that he is suspected of committing a committal envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code, that is illegal procurement and carrying of weapons.
Aram Hakobyan’s rights were explained to the latter, in accordance with the law, and he expressed a desire to have a defense attorney. A. Hakobyan’s defense attorney is the lawyer Tigran Yegoryan.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
