In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee stabbing of the young man, born in 1992, was disclosed. One person was involved as a suspect.

On November 8, 2019 at 05:40 a call was received in Erebuni Police Division informing that a young man, born in 1992, with a diagnosis of «cut-pierced wounds on the right lumbar region on the frontal part of the abdomen» was taken to «Erebuni Medical Center» CJSC.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory group was formed. The young man, born in 1992, was found the injured party.

On November 8, 2019 a female resident of Yerevan, born in 1954, was apprehended to Erebuni Police Division who presented the knife which was the crime tool. On the same day, by the investigator's decision, 65 year-old woman was involved as a suspect, signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against her.

Through preliminary investigation it was found out that on November 8, 2019 at about 03:00 the young man, born in 1992, visited 65 year-old woman with his girl-friend. Under the influence of alcohol the guests scolded 65 year-old woman because of which the latter took the kitchen knife and stabbed the young man on several parts of his body.

A number of investigatory actions, including inspection of the scene were conducted, a number of persons were questioned.

Forensic medical, forensic trace examinations were commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
