Information about Results of Investigation of Cases on Crimes Committed against Children Investigated in RA Investigative Committee in First Term of 2021
Criminal cases on crimes committed against children investigated in the proceeding of the Investigative Committee in the first term of 2021 were studied in the Investigative Committee.
In the first term of 2021 229 criminal cases on crimes committed against children were investigated, 93 materials were prepared in the proceeding of the RA Investigative Committee.
Out of 229 criminal cases on crimes committed against children
- 3 referred to murder envisaged by the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code,
- 1 – to murder of a newly born child by the mother envisaged by the Article 106 of RA Criminal Code,
- 4 - to causing death by negligence envisaged by the Article 109 of RA Criminal Code,
- 3 - to causing to commit suicide envisaged by the Article 110 of RA Criminal Code,
- 3 - to willful infliction of heavy damage to health envisaged by the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code,
- 1 - to willful infliction of medium-gravity damage to health envisaged by the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code,
- 4 - to willful infliction of light damage to health envisaged by the Article 117 of RA Criminal Code,
- 28 - to battery envisaged by the Article 118 of RA Criminal Code,
- 14 - to willfully causing strong pain or bodily or mental sufferance to a person envisaged by the Article 119 of RA Criminal Code,
- 2 - to inflicting grave damage through negligence envisaged by the Article 120 of RA Criminal Code,
- 2 – to inflicting medium-gravity damage through negligence envisaged by the Article 121 of RA Criminal Code,
- 8 - to kidnapping envisaged by the Article 131 of RA Criminal Code,
- 7 - to trafficking or exploitation of a child or a person deprived of opportunity to realize his actions or control them caused by mental disorder envisaged by the Article 132.2 of RA Criminal Code,
- 2 - to threat to murder or to inflict heavy damage to one’s life or to destroy property envisaged by the Article 137 of RA Criminal Code,
- 2 - to rape envisaged by the Article 138 of RA Criminal Code,
- 8 - to violent sexual actions envisaged by the Article 139 of RA Criminal Code,
- 32 - to sexual intercourse or other sexual acts with a person obviously under 16 envisaged by the Article 141 of RA Criminal Code,
- 15 - to lecherous acts envisaged by the Article 142 of RA Criminal Code,
- 1 – to illegal collecting, keeping, use and dissemination of information pertaining to personal or family life envisaged by the Article 144 of RA Criminal Code,
- 1 - to involving a minor into committal of crime envisaged by the Article 165 of RA Criminal Code,
- 2 - to illegal separation of the child from the parents or substitution of the child envisaged by the Article 167 of RA Criminal Code,
- 11 - to hindering to visits of parent or other close relative to the child envisaged by the Article 167.1 of RA Criminal Code,
- 4 - to sale and purchase of child for the purpose of taking up care envisaged by the Article 168 of RA Criminal Code,
- 13 - to willful evasion from supporting one’s child by the parent envisaged by the Article 173 of RA Criminal Code and 58 other crimes.
Within the above-mentioned criminal cases 111 persons were involved as a defendant, 8 of them were between the ages of 16 and 18, 51 – between the ages of 18-35, 52 – over 35.
Within the criminal cases there were 248 affected persons 143 of which were up to 12, 26 – between the ages of 12 and 14, 50 – between the ages of 14 and 16, 29 – between the ages of 16 and 18.
In the first term of 2021 preliminary investigation of 101 criminal cases on crimes against children were completed.
Proceeding of 56 criminal cases was terminated 44 of which were on acquittal, 12 – on non-acquittal base.
45 criminal cases on 53 persons, with the bill of indictment, were sent to court.
In the mentioned period 9 criminal cases were combined, 10 criminal cases were sent according to investigative subordination.
