Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out the circumstances of inflicting heavy bodily injuries to minor in Yerevan.

On April 28, 2018 at 21:00 a call was received from “Armenia Medical Center” CJSC informing that the resident of Yerevan, born in 2001 with diagnosis of “cut-pierced wounds on the chest and bottom” was taken to them.

Pursuant to initial data, the minor sustained the heavy bodily injuries on the day of the incident at about 13:00 in Tigran Mets Street, Yerevan during the argument over personal matters in which a group of people were involved.

On May 3 a criminal case was initiated in the police according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code which was received in the proceeding of RA IC Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department on May 4.

Forensic medical examinations were commissioned. 

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-searching measures several people involved in the argument were identified.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to clarify the actions of those involved in the incident, to identify the person (people) having committed the alleged crime.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
