On May 10, 2020 at 06:20 a call was received from «Vagharshapat» medical center informing that 41 year-old resident of Geghakert village with cut-pierced wounds on the neck and chest, traumatic shock was taken to them.

A criminal case was initiated in Vagharshapat Investigative Division of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 (murder attempt) of RA Criminal Code.

Through preliminary investigation it was found out that on May 10, 2020 from 05:00 to 05:30 41 year-old man together with his wife and a resident of Ejmiatsin, went to their land located in the administrative district of Geghakert village to collect strawberries. Getting to the mentioned place they noticed an unknown person, 41 year-old man tried to find out why the latter was in his land and he, for the purpose of illegal deprivation from life, stabbed the resident of Geghakert village on his vital organs causing heavy bodily damage; however he could not complete the crime under unforeseen circumstances and fled.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
