In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Third Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder committed at the crossroad of Amiryan-Mashtots Streets of Yerevan the resident of Yerevan was arrested.
 

On January 30, 2022 at 01:58 a call was received from the medical center informing that a man’s body with cut-pierced injuries was taken to them.
 

In the result of investigative and other procedural actions, as well as urgent measures taken jointly with the employees of the RA Police a number of circumstances of infliction of bodily injuries incompatible with life to the man were found out, the victim and the person having committed the alleged crime were identified.
 

Pursuant to initial data, on January 30, 2022 at about 01:15 in front of the flower shop located near the crossroad of Amiryan and Mashtots Streets of Yerevan 29 year-old resident of Yerevan quarreled with 34 year-old employee of the same flower shop during which he stabbed the latter on different parts of his body illegally, willfully depriving him of life.
 

A criminal case was initiated in the Third Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
 

During preliminary investigation inspection of the scene was conducted during which the handle of the knife – the instrument of crime with blood-like traces was found. Samples were taken, witnesses were questioned, a number of forensic examinations were commissioned.
 

On the same day 29 year-old young man was arrested on suspicion of committing murder. He was questioned and gave self-incriminating testimony.
 

Preliminary investigation is conducted. Necessary measures are taken to provide the objective and comprehensive investigation of the case, to verify the circumstances mentioned in the testimonies.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
