In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee murder committed today in Yerevan was revealed, the suspect was arrested.
 

It was earlier informed that on January 11, 2017 at about 15:30 a call was received from “Kentron Substation” of Ambulance service informing that Vahe Muradyan’s body with cut-pierced injury on the left part of the chest was found in the yard of the house 28, Vardanants Street, Yerevan, another young man Raffi Martirosyan with a diagnosis of “cut-pierced wound on the frontal surface of the left leg” was taken to “University Hospital N 1” from the same address.
 

The investigatory-operative group headed by the Head of the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts Vigen Mesropyan immediately left for the site.
 

A criminal case was initiated according to the Parts 1 of the Article 104 and the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Urgent investigatory actions were conducted to find all circumstances of the case.
 

As a result, data were obtained on the allegation that active participants of the argument were students. During the argument one of the participants hit Vahe Muradyan on the left part of his chest with a cutting-piercing item inflicting bodily injury incompatible with life, Raffi Martirosyan also was inflicted “cut-pierced wound on the frontal surface of the left leg”.
 

In the result of urgent investigatory actions the motive of the argument was found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified; he is a resident of Kotayq region, a student of a higher education facility. The suspect was arrested.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
