In the result of urgent investigatory actions conducted in the Sixth Garrison Investigative Unit of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee murder of 32 year-old man was revealed. The suspect was arrested.

On August 17, 2017 at 15:10 a call was received informing that there was a burnt out car in the field called “Chngi” of Nerqin Karmiraghbyur village.

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the site. Through inspection of the site a car of “VAZ-2106” make rolled over the canyon, burnt out was found with a burnt body in it.

In the result of investigatory and operative-intelligence joint actions the body was identified; he was a resident of Nerqin Karmiraghbyur village of Tavush region, contractor, born in 1985.

A criminal case was initiated in the Sixth Garrison Investigative Unit of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. In the result of urgent investigatory actions the murder motive was found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified who is also a resident of the village of Nerqin Karmiraghbyur of Tavush region, born in 1980.

Through investigation data were obtained that 32 year-old contractor had sustained bodily injuries incompatible with life on August 16, 2017 at about 21:00 during the argument over personal matters with his fellow villager – 37 year-old man. Then the latter put him into the mentioned car, rolled over the canyon and burnt.

37 year-old man was arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
