Opportunities of Developing Anti-Corruption Mechanisms through Digitization Discussed at RA Investigative Committee
The Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Arsen Ayvazyan received the professional group of the World Bank.
During the meeting the opportunities of increasing the effectiveness of the functions of the RA Investigative Committee and improving anti-corruption mechanisms through digitization, perspectives and opportunities of implementation of joint programs aimed at them were discussed.
Arsen Ayvazyan stated that the RA Investigative Committee, as the biggest body conducting preliminary investigation in the RA, attaches great importance to the process of implementing digital tools during preliminary investigation and thanked the World Bank for the support shown in this area.
The Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee introduced the World Bank specialists in details the legislative reforms aimed at digitization of preliminary investigation, investment of new technologies for more efficient investigations within criminal proceedings and work done so far in the direction of their implementation with the support of the World Bank.
The members of the professional group of the World Bank mentioned that the World Bank is ready to continue the cooperation within the reforms in judicial legal sphere contributing to enhancement of quality of public service through development of digital technologies in various areas of management and reduction of corruption risks.
