In the result of joint measures, taken by RA National Security Service and RA Investigative Committee, the organization of mass disorder in places where public events are due to be held on April 24, 2015 was prevented.
 

In the result of the taken measures it was found that a group of persons, taking into consideration that there can be crowds of people during the nationwide public events in the area of the Republic of Armenia on April 24, 2015 with regard to the 100^th anniversary of Armenian Genocide, appeal not to execute the demands of the representatives of authorities that day, if necessary to do violence against them.
 

Apart from the fact that the intention to use the public events, due to be held on Memorial Day of the victims of Armenian Genocide in favor of their interests, is  far from being moral, at the same time such actions include features of preparing apparent crime of organizing mass disorder envisaged by RA Criminal Code. Accordingly, a criminal case was initiated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee pursuant to the Article 35-225 of RA Criminal Code. Preliminary investigation is under way.
 

Joint urgent investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures are being taken together with officials of RA National Security Service to find all the circumstances of preparation of apparent crime. Also searches are being conducted in a number of places.
