Person Found in Possession of "Marijuana" Drugs: The Latter also Involved in Procurement of Various Types of Drugs
In the result of large-scale investigative and procedural actions conducted within the criminal proceeding investigated in the Department for Investigation of Crimes on Human Trafficking, against Sexual Immunity of Juveniles and Illegal Turnover of Drugs of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that between January 15 and December 8, 2023 A.D.,with prior agreement with unidentified persons, with the intent of sale, illegally procured various types of narcotic drugs from several Telegram users, advertised them, then ensured the separation of narcotic drugs according to the weight, packaging and pre-positioning in hiding places․ Then the locations of the drugs were photographed, the geographical coordinates of their locations were marked using a software application and through an online store platform registered in the Telegram application, they were transferred to individuals who had expressed a desire to purchase drugs and had transferred the appropriate amount of funds to their crypto currency wallets, thus carrying out narcotic drug sale.
Among the drugs procured for sale in the aforementioned way, through the use of telecommunications technologies, the drug of "Marijuana" type was found in the possession of A.D.
Public criminal prosecution was initiated against A.D. according to the Points 1 and 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 393 of RA Criminal Code.
Detention was imposed as a pretrial measure to him.
The criminal proceeding on A.D. with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
Investigative and procedural actions are conducted to identify the other members of the group.
