Investigation is conducted in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of murder attempt committed against 27 year-old man.

On September 19, 2019 at about 12:10 a call was received from «Vanadzor Medical Center» CJSC informing that a young man, born in 1991, with firearm injury on the head was taken to medical center from the yard of one of the houses of Myasnikyan Street of Vanadzor town.

The investigatory-operative group headed by the Head of Lori Regional Investigative Department immediately left for the scene.

A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code.

Pursuant to initial data, on the morning of September 19, 2019 the person having committed the alleged crime went in his acquaintance’s car to meet 27 year-old man. Seeing that the latter was approaching, with the intend to illegally deprive from life, he shot fires from a hunting gun which was in his bag towards 27 year-old man and fled.   

In the result of investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures a number of circumstances of the case were found out, the persons involved in the incident were identified; they are also residents of Vanadzor town. One of them – the car driver was found and arrested. The hunting gun which was the crime tool was also found.

During preliminary investigation urgent investigatory actions were conducted – inspection of the scene during which three capsules fired from a hunting gun, blood-like traces were found, samples were taken, forensic medical examination was commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation of circumstances of the case, to find the person having committed the alleged crime and to bring him to the investigative body.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
