Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Case Initiated on Involvement of Muhrab Muhammad al-Shkheri and Youssef Alabet al-Haji in Aggressive War Unleashed by Republic of Azerbaijan against Republic of Artsakh Completed
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on involvement of citizens of Syrian Arab Republic Muhrab Muhammad al-Shkheri and Youssef Alabet al-Haji in the aggressive war unleashed by the Republic of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh as mercenary-terrorists was completed in the Department of Criminalistics of the RA Investigative Committee.
On the base of the evidence obtained during comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the criminal case it was grounded that Muhrab Muhammad al-Shkheri and Youssef Alabet al-Haji, not being citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, not permanently living in its territory, not being involved in the staff of the armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan but being citizens of Syrian Arab Republic, not being sent to carry out official duties in the armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan by Syrian Arab Republic or another state, for financial compensation participated in the aggressive war unleashed on September 27, 2020 during which their actions were directed to murdering or causing heavy bodily damage to civilians and people not directly involved in military actions at the area of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh and the goal of those actions was to terrorize the civilian population destabilizing the internal situation of the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia.
Charge was pressed against the citizens of Syrian Arab Republic Muhrab Muhammad al-Shkheri and Youssef Alabet al-Haji for committing the above-mentioned criminal acts according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 217, the Article 389, the Point 1 of the Part 1 of the Article 34-390, the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 34-390 and the Part 3 of the Article 395 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation to confirm the bill of indictment and send it to court.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
