Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Case Initiated on Willful Infliction of Heavy Bodily Damage Completed
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on willful infliction of heavy bodily damage to health was completed in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. Charge was pressed against the resident of Lori province, born in 1991.
In the result of comprehensive, complete and objective investigation a number of circumstances were found out.
Pursuant to factual data obtained through investigation 27 year-old resident of Lori argued with a resident of the same province, born in 1996 and hit with hands on different parts of his body.
Then he stabbed 22 year-old man on his right thigh and cut five fingers of his right hand willfully causing heavy bodily damage threatening to life.
On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 27 year-old young man according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
