Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on the death of the director of entertainment complex “Ma Plaza” was completed in General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee.
 

Through preliminary investigation the circumstances of the death of the director of entertainment complex “Ma Plaza” were found, the persons who had inflicted him heavy bodily damage were identified. 
 

According to the obtained evidence, on September 13, 2012 the serviceman of the unit N of RA Ministry of Defense A. Qarhanyan was at the disposal of RA Sambo Federation by the order of the headquarter of RA Armed Forces. On the same day, at about 23:00 he was in front of the entertainment complex “Ma Plaza” located in town Abovyan with several persons and argued with the director of entertainment complex Mkrtich Khachatryan for scolding them.
 

Through investigation it was found that two participants of the argument A. Qarhanyan and V. Grigoryan hit at different parts of M. Khachatryan’s body with hands and feet for several times and inflicted the latter medium-gravity damage causing protracted health disorder.
 

Then A. Qarhanyan hit at the latter’s chest with a foot in the result of which M. Khachatryan fell to the ground and sustained fracture of skull bones. M. Khachatryan was taken to “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” medical center where he died of craniocerebral trauma on September 27, at 18:30.
 

During preliminary investigation a number of examinations were appointed, including forensic examinations.
 

According to the results of the examinations, direct causal relationship was found between Mkrtich Khachatryan’s death and the bodily damage on the back part of his head which he had sustained in the result of falling to the ground.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained during the pretrial proceeding A. Qarhanyan was charged pursuant to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 and the Part 1 of the Article 109 of RA Criminal Code. V. Grigoryan was charged pursuant to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code.
 

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor implementing supervision over the legality of the preliminary investigation. The bill of indictment was confirmed and the case was sent to the Court of First Instance of Kotayq.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
