RA IC Chairman Offered to Conduct Inspections in Care Houses
Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted within the criminal case investigated in Vardenis Investigative Division of Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to provide the comprehensive and objective investigation of apparent abuses recorded in “Neuropsychological Care House of Vardenis” SNCO. Writs were sent to the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs to carry out inspections.
It was earlier informed that within the criminal case investigated in the RA IC Vardenis Investigative Division of Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department data were obtained on the allegation that SNCO director A. Harutyunyan reaching prior agreement with the storekeeper of the same SNCO sold 1260 kg beef and did not enter the money to the account of organization.
Besides, from June 1 to July 17, 2018 about 3.569 l of milk received from the livestock farm of the same organization was also sold and again the money was not entered to the account of organization. The damage caused is 3.069.940 AMD.
On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against A. Harutyunyan according to the Points 1 and 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 179, the Part 1 of the Article 314 of RA Criminal Code. Charge was pressed against the storekeeper according to the Points 1 and 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 38-179, the Part 1 of the Article 38-314 of RA Criminal Code. During preliminary investigation the damage caused to the state was completely restored.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Investigation is conducted to disclose other possible abuses in the SNCO.
The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee officially informed the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs about the actual data on apparent abuses obtained through preliminary investigation offering to conduct inspection not only in “Neuropsychological Care House of Vardenis” SNCO but also in other care houses subordinate to the Ministry, as well as to conduct inventory.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
