In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Syunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed for stabbing three persons in Syunik on September 21.

On September 22, 2017 at 00:05 3 men, two of them born in 1975 and one – in 1971, with cut-pierced penetrating injuries were taken to medical center. In the result of taken measures it was found that the mentioned persons had sustained the bodily injuries during the same incident.

In the result of necessary investigatory and operative-intelligence actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated in the RA IC Syunik Regional Investigative Department a number of circumstances significant for the criminal case – the motive was found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Syunik, born in 1991.

Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that on September 21, 2017 the young man, born in 1991, drove citizens in his car for certain money from Yerevan to Meghri community of Syunik region and there was disagreement about the amount of money. Then disagreement turned into an argument during which the young man stabbed the mentioned three persons inflicting heavy bodily injuries.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the young man according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
