Search declared against defendant
In the result of investigatory actions of great volume conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee stabbing of two persons in Yerevan was revealed.
On December 22, 2016 at 18:10 a call was received informing that 25 year-old M. Hovhannisyan with “cut wound on the middle third of the right thigh, bleeding, hypovolemic shock” and A. Asiryan with “cut-pierced wound on the upper third of the right thigh” were taken to medical center. At the stage of preliminary investigation M. Hovhannisyan died of bodily injuries he had sustained.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, an investigatory plan was worked out and necessary investigatory and other procedural actions were conducted to find all circumstances of sustaining bodily injuries with a knife, the motive of the argument, to identify the person having committed the apparent crime.
As a result actual data were obtained on the allegation that the two mentioned persons had sustained bodily injuries by a 29 year-old resident of Yerevan during the argument that took place in front of the house 17, 2d alley, Khorenatsi Street.
On the base of the obtained evidence a decision was made to involve the 29 year-old man as a defendant according to the Points 1 and 14 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him and search was declared.
The relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to take measures to find the wanted and bring him to the investigative body.
