Search declared against minor within criminal case on murder committed in Jrvezh
In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the motive of 35 year-old man’s murder in Jrvezh was found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.
It was earlier informed that on April 11, 2017 a call was received informing that a man’s body was found in the flat of one of the houses of Mayak district of Jrvezh.
Through inspection of the site the body of 35 year-old resident of Yerevan with cut-pierced wounds on frontal and back parts of the chest was found.
On the same day a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory plan was worked out and necessary investigatory and operative-searching actions were conducted to find the circumstances of the man’s death.
As a result, actual data were obtained on the allegation that a 42 year-old woman had rented and lived in the mentioned flat where the man was murdered. The latter was identified and her relation to the murdered man was found.
In the framework of the criminal case the 42 year-old woman was arrested as a suspect. In the result of investigatory actions of great volume the woman’s participation in murder committed was not confirmed, sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that murder had been committed by minor son of the woman. On the base of the obtained evidence 17 year-old boy was involved as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code and search was declared against him.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
