In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of inflicting heavy bodily injury to 27 year-old young man were found. Within the criminal case 20 year-old young man was involved as a defendant and search was declared.

On January 20, 2018 at 18:45 a call was received from medical center informing that a resident of Yerevan, born in 1990, with cut-pierced injury was taken to medical center.

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory group was formed, 27 year-old man was found the injured party. Forensic medical and forensic biological examinations were commissioned.

In the result of investigatory and procedural actions of great volume circumstances of the case were found, sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that 27 year-old man had sustained heavy bodily injury during the argument that took place at the area of a car wash center operating in Rostovyan Street, the motive, the frame of those involved were found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified.

Particularly, through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that on the day of the incident two young men, born in 1993 and 1995 met at the area of the car wash center to clarify private matters and their acquaintances also took part in it. During the meeting a row erupted which turned into brawl during which one of those involved stabbed one of the employees of the car wash center – the 27 year-old man with a cutting-piercing item.

The person having committed the alleged crime was identified, he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1998, a wrestler.

In the order defined by law the latter’s photo was represented to the injured for recognition who pointed to 20 year-old young man’s photo and told that he had stabbed him.

On the base of sufficient evidence obtained through preliminary investigation a decision was made to involve the young man, born in 1998, as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code, detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him and search was declared.

The mentioned person is asked to turn himself to the investigative body or those, who have any information about his whereabouts, are asked to turn to the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to identify those involved in the argument, to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
