Shots in Dilijan; Charge Pressed against 5 Persons
In the result of investigative and other procedural actions conducted within criminal case investigated in Dilijan Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that on May 19, 2021 at about 13:00 6 residents of Yerevan, who had gone to the guest house operating in Hakobjanyan Street, Dilijan to have a rest, had a party in the pavilion located in the yard of the guest house. On the same day in the evening in front of the guest house 2 residents of the mentioned street and their friend argued with those who had arrived from Yerevan during which they hit each other with stones and one of the guests fired shots with a pistol kept by him illegally.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against four persons according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code, against one – according to the Part 1 of the Article 235 and the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
