Stabbing Committed in Armavir Disclosed; One Person Arrested
In the result of investigatory actions conducted in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee stabbing of a man, born in 1985, was disclosed. One person was arrested.
On May 1, 2019 at about 21:15 a call was received in Armavir Division of the RA Police from “Armavir” medical center informing that a resident of Armavir, born in 1985, with a diagnosis of “cut-pierced wound on the left part of the chest” was taken to medical center.
A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Armavir Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
In the result of measures taken within the criminal case it was found out that the man had sustained the mentioned bodily injury on the same day at about 23:50 during the argument with his neighbor over domestic matters.
On May 1, 2019 the person having committed the alleged crime turned himself to the investigative body and gave confessional testimony.
The resident of Armavir, born in 1992, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting 34 year-old man heavy bodily damage.
Forensic medical examination was commissioned, measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the case.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
