Stabbing Committed in Nubarashen Disclosed. Suspect Arrested
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on stabbing a young man, born in 1990. The person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he was arrested.
On March 25, 2019 at 03:40 a call was received in Erebuni Police Division from «Erebuni Medical Center» CJSC informing that a young man, born in 1990, with diagnosis of «cut-pierced wounds on the back surface of the left part of the chest, left lumber region, left part of the buttocks» was taken to medical center.
The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the hospital.
On March 25, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code and the conduction of preliminary investigation was tasked to the investigatory group. The young man, born in 1990, was found the injured party.
In the result of investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures data were obtained on a number of circumstances – the scene, the motive, the person having committed the alleged crime who is the injured party’s friend, born in 1989. The latter was arrested and questioned.
Through preliminary investigation it was found out that the young man had sustained the heavy bodily injuries on the morning of March 25 during the argument over driving the car fast.
Inspection of the scene was conducted, witnesses were questioned, the clothes the person having committed the alleged crime was wearing on the day of the incident were confiscated, blood-like traces were found on them.
Forensic medical and forensic biological examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
