Stabbing during assault; criminal case initiated
A criminal case was initiated in Nairi Investigative Division of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on assault against a citizen and inflicting heavy bodily damage to his health.
On August 21, 2017 at 21:40 s report was received from the medical center informing that the resident of Kotayq region, born in 1985, with diagnosis of «cut-pierced wound on the right part of the chest and right lumber region, the back vascular line» was taken to medical center. The latter told that on the same day in the street he resisted somebody who was trying to steal his necklace and was stabbed.
A criminal case was initiated in Nairi Investigative Division of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 and the Point 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code.
The injured citizen is not able to give testimony yet.
Investigation is conducted to find all circumstances of the case, to identify the person having committed the alleged crime.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
