The body of the 74 year-old missing woman, the citizen of France found in Armavir (video)
In the result of the investigatory and procedural actions implemented in the framework of the criminal case, investigated in Vagharshapat Investigative Division of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee, murder of the citizen of France 74 year-old Monique Harley was revealed.
During preliminary investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegations that the woman missing from 2011 was killed by the citizen of RA. During the interrogation the citizen G. Khachatryan told the circumstances of murder of the citizen of France, 74 year-old Monique Harley.
During the investigatory experimentation conducted in the framework of the criminal case G. Khachatryan pointed the location of the body and in the mentioned location a human skeleton was found. According to the materials of the criminal case, on December 12, 2011 the citizen of France, 74 year-old Monique Harley arrived in Yerevan with G. Khachatryan on Casablanca-Paris-Yerevan flight but there was not any information on her departure from the Republic of Armenia.
On October 9, 2012 a criminal case was initiated by the prosecutor of Armavir region according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
During preliminary investigation it was found that out of mercenary motives with the intend of illegal willful deprivation of Monique Harley’s life, on December 12, 2011 G. Khachatryan arrived in Armenia with her from Morocco on Casablanca-Paris-Yerevan flight N 102, lived in her house for a few days then killed her through pills, stole the latter’s credit cards and on January 19, 2012 returned to Morocco. In Marrakech he lived in the detached house of the 74 year-old woman, tried to transfer the latter’s financial assets through the internet. However on March 23, 2012 he was detained by the Police of Morocco and accused of fraud.
In the result of cooperation between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries on April 15, 2015 the accused G. Khachatryan was taken to Armenia.
