In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee necessary investigatory and operative-searching measures are taken to find all circumstances of 58 year-old Ye. Khachatryan’s murder and to identify those involved. During the investigation the motive of murder was found, three persons were involved as a defendant.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, on June 4, 2016 at about 23:00 in front of 5/1 Nubarashen, Yerevan a group of persons argued with 58 year-old Ye. Khachatryan about making remarks for breaching traffic rules. Then they scolded and used violence against Ye. Khachatryan in the presence of his 75 year-old mother beating him on the vital organ –head, as well as on the chest and abdomen for numerous times. Ye. Khachatryan died at the site of bodily injuries he had sustained.
 

Through investigation it was found that another driver on the road noticed a group of young men using violence against the man and advised them to stop. Out of hooligan motives the young men pursued him, as well who rushed to the nearest car service station to ask for help and due to interference of its employees beating was prevented.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation today charge was pressed against Kh. Kosyan according to the Points 7 and 10 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code (murder by a group of persons out of hooligan motives). The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him.
 

On the same day a decision was made to involve two more persons A. Chichoyan and A. Nikoghosyan as a defendant according to the Points 7 and 10 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code and search was declared against them.
 

Relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to take necessary measures to find and bring them to the investigative body.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, investigatory actions are conducted to identify other persons involved, to personalize their actions.
