In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee initiated on murder committed on January 6 in “Musa Ler” hotel complex two more persons were involved as a defendant.

Due to investigatory actions conducted by the investigative body it was found that the residents of Ejmiatsin town Kh. Khachikyan and A. Paravyan also took part in the armed incident which took place on January 6, 2016 in the mentioned hotel complex.
 

According to the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation, being involved in the group, they willfully violated the public order, scolded the employees A. Khachatryan. S. Khlghatyan, A. Paravyan also used violence with an object used as a weapon against them, as well as against the residents of the village of Taronik A. Karapetyan and A. Khlghatyan.

On the base of the obtained evidence on January 9 A. Paravyan was involved as a defendant according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code, Kh. Khachikyan – according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code.

On the same day the investigator submitted a motion to the court to use detention as a pretrial measure against them.

It was earlier informed that 22 year-old A. Karapetyan was killed in the armed incident that took place on January 6 in “Musa Ler” hotel complex, the head of the village of Taronik A. Khlghatyan sustained a firearm injury.

According to the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation, during the row one of the participants of the incident A. Babayan fired with a firearm that was with him. On January 7 search was declared against him.

The latter was involved as a defendant according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 258, Point 10 of the Part 2 of the Article 104, Points 1 and 10 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to identify the other participants of the incident, to personalize the actions of each of them.

The relevant subdivisions of the Police were tasked to take measures to find the persons under search.
