Urgent investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated on road accident in Tula region (Photos)
On November 3, 2015 at about 03:00 on “Don” highway of Tula region of the Russian Federation the bus, which was registered in the Republic of Armenia and belonged to “King Delux” LLC, overturned on its way to the Republic of Armenia causing through negligence 8 persons’ death, inflicting 35 persons bodily damages of different gravity.
By the analyses of information received through mass media reports related to the case the alleged crime took place in the result of release of the means of transportation with technical malfunctions for operation by a person in charge of maintenance of the means of transportation.
On November 3, 2015 by the decision of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee a criminal case was initiated according to the Part 3 of the Article 242 and the Part 3 of the Article 245 of RA Criminal Code. Conduction of preliminary investigation of the criminal case was tasked to the General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.
On the same day an investigatory group was formed which included investigators of particularly important cases of the General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases.
Urgent investigatory and procedural actions have been and are being conducted. Particularly, the documents on the overturned means of transportation, including documents on technical maintenance and repair, personal files of drivers and other employees, employment contracts, electronic information have been confiscated from “King Delux” LLC, the persons in charge of operation and maintenance of the mentioned means of transportation have been interrogated. Inquiries have been made to competent bodies and appropriate documents have been required in order to get information significant for the case.
In the framework of the criminal case necessary investigatory and procedural actions are conducted.
Coordination of work with the law enforcement bodies of Moscow and Tula region, as well as cooperation is supported by the representative of the RA Investigative Committee in the Russian Federation.
