Investigatory and operative-searching measures of great volume are ongoing in the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee to find all circumstances of Kamo Piruzyan’s murder committed in Alaverdi in June, 2017.

In the result of comprehensive investigation data were obtained on the allegation that one of the officials of the RA Investigative Committee performing special state service received bribe in particularly large amount for carrying out illegal actions in favor of Vahagn Abgaryan charged with ordering the mentioned murder and Vladimir Davtyan charged with committing the crime, and a number of other officials, out of mercenary and personal motives, abused their position against service interests.

By the decision of the investigator of General Department of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee the part on the mentioned officials according to the Point 2 of the Part 4 of the Article 311 and the Part 1 of the Article 308 of RA Criminal Code was separated a separate proceeding from the criminal case initiated on Kamo Piruzyan’s murder and was sent to the RA Prosecutor General’s Office with a motion to send it to the RA Special Investigatory Service according to investigatory subordination.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
