In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted within the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of 64 year-old woman's murder were found out. Charge was pressed against the latter's neighbor.

It was earlier informed that on October 22, 2019 a call was received from a citizen informing that murder had been committed in one of the apartments located in Vardashen Street.

In the result of necessary investigatory actions conducted as well as operative-intelligence measures taken within the criminal case initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department a number of circumstances of the case were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1979.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation on October 21, 2019 at about 20:00 during the argument on personal relations that took place in 64 year-old woman's apartment located in Vardashen Street, Yerevan, with the purpose of illegal deprivation from life 40 year-old man stabbed the woman for numerous times on different parts of her body causing bodily injuries incompatible with life.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 40 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
