Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Proceeding Initiated on Smuggling 10 kg Narcotic Drugs to the RA Completed

 

As it was already informed, as a result of large-scale procedural and evidentiary actions conducted, as well as operative-intelligence measures taken by the officers of Yerevan City Department of National Security Service in the course of the preliminary investigation initiated on October 9, 2025, it was found out that two foreign nationals on October 28 were going to smuggle narcotic drugs in particularly large amount - 10 kg “Marijuana” to the RA and sell it for 50 thousand USD.

In the course of the preliminary investigation they were detained.

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
