Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Proceeding on Causing Minor Strong Physical Pain and Mental Sufferance Completed
In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in the Department for Investigation of Crimes against Humanity of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that on January 31, 2024 after the quarrel between E.H. and A.K., E.H.’s father decided to punish A.K..
It was found out that E.H.’s father, A.H., together with two persons visited A.K.’s apartment, where they acting in coordination with one another, struck A.K. with hands and feet on different parts of his body and hurled insults.
Afterwards, in order to later present their actions as a calm conversation, A.H. also had a disciplinary talk with A.K., during which he compelled him to apologize to E.H.
As a result of the above-mentioned actions strong mental sufferance was caused to A.K.
In the course of the preliminary investigation public criminal prosecution was initiated against two individuals according to the Points 3 and 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 196 of RA Criminal Code, and against one individual according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 196 of RA Criminal Code.
The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
