Arsen Ayvazyan, Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee received today the delegates of the First EU Assessing Mission implemented within the framework of the Action Plan for EU Visa Liberalization Action Plan.  

Representatives of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present at the meeting. 

Greeting the guests, Arsen Ayvazyan expressed gratitude for the initiative of the meeting. 

The Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee presented the structure, functions and capabilities of the Investigative Committee to the delegates of the First EU Assessing Mission. Reference was also made to the work carried out within the framework of international cooperation, the legislative reforms related to the activities of the Investigative Committee, as well as other issues concerning the Committee’s operations.

The delegates of the First EU Assessing Mission attached importance to the work carried out in the areas of organized crime, terrorism and corruption prevention. 

At the end of the meeting the EU mission experts expressed gratitude to Arsen Ayvazyan, Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee, for the exchange of information on issues related to the law-enforcement sector.

The parties emphasized the effectiveness of such meetings and expressed their willingness to ensure the continuity of cooperation through joint efforts.
