One of those Involved in Hooliganism Poured Petrol on the Other․ Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Proceeding Initiated on Murder Attempt Completed

Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on murder attempt was completed in the Department for Investigation of Crimes against Humanity of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.

As a result of evidentiary and procedural actions conducted in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding it was found out that on May 9, 2025 a group of people left for A.M.’s residence, cursed him and the latter poured petrol on one of them and burnt with a lighter.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against A.M. according to the Part 1 of the Article 44-155 of RA Criminal Code.

Home detention and bail were used as a pretrial measure against him.

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.

Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on hooliganism is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
