The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Met the Ambassador of India and the Investigators having participated in Training Course in India
On March 3, 2026 the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee, Artur Poghosyan met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia, Nilakshi Saha Sinha.
15 investigators of the Investigative Committee, who, from February 16 to 27, 2026, had participated in the course titled “Combating Money Laundering, Digital Intelligence, and Crypto Currency” at the National Forensic Sciences University located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, within the framework of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program, were also present at the meeting.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee highlighted the knowledge and skills acquired by the participants in the result of the training, particularly in the areas of combating money laundering, digital intelligence, and the detection of crimes related to crypto currencies, considering it an important contribution to the development of the capacities of the Investigative Committee.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the opportunity to personally meet with the investigators who had participated in the course and to hear their opinions and impressions.
It should be noted that during the meeting held on July 23, 2025 between the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Artur Poghosyan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia, Nilakshi Saha Sinha, an agreement was reached to organize training courses aimed at developing professional capacities and exchanging experience.
Highly appreciating the support provided by India, as well as the Ambassador’s personal involvement and contribution to the development of Armenian-Indian law enforcement cooperation, Artur Poghosyan awarded Nilakshi Saha Sinha the medal of the Investigative Committee “Honored Partner”.
