The Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Arsen Ayvazyan received the delegation headed by the Head of Cybersecurity Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Iraq, General Dr. Hassan Hadi Latheeth. 

Greeting the delegation members, Arsen Ayvazyan emphasized the significance of the support from international partners in the field of cybercrimes and thanked for the initiative of the meeting. 

Arsen Ayvazyan presented the structure, functions of the Investigative Committee, as well as the peculiarities of the criminal proceedings investigated in the Department for Investigation of Cybercrime and High Technology Crime.

The Head of Cybersecurity Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Iraq, in his turn, presented the law enforcement system of Iraq. The parties discussed the specific features of the law enforcement systems of the two countries. 

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to promptly respond to legal requests within the framework of mutual assistance, to establish close cooperation between the law enforcement systems of the two countries, and to ensure its continuity.
