Criminal case initiated in the Investigative Department of the RA National Security Service on abuse of official authority, taking bribe, squandering was received in Akhuryan Investigative Division of Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee and necessary measures were taken to find out circumstances of cases.

Pursuant to initial data, the acting director of «Arpi Lake National Park» SNCO demanded and received bribe from residents of nearest village to permit grass haying at the area not envisaged by the contract.

Actual data were also obtained on apparent squandering of rent amount of the land entrusted to him.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Department of the RA National Security Service according to the Part 1 of the Article 308, the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 179, the Part 2 of the Article 311 (8 counts), the Point 2 of the Part 4 of the Article 311, the Points 2 and 3 of the Part 3 of the Article 311, the Point 3 of the Part 3 of the Article 311 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in Akhuryan Investigative Division of Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Acting director of SNCO was arrested on suspicion of abusing official authorities, taking bribe, squandering and was questioned.

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
