A criminal case was initiated in Dilijan Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on juvenile’s stabbing. In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-searching measures the circumstances of the case were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is also a juvenile.

On July 11, 2018 at 02:15 a call was received in Police Dilijan Division from “Dilijan” medical center informing that a minor resident of Dilijan town, born in 2001, with “penetrating wound on the chest and pierced wound on the left part of the waist» was taken to medical center.

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in Dilijan Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

Through preliminary investigation urgent investigatory and other procedural actions were conducted. As a result, it was found out that on July 10 at about 21:00 an argument took place in Getapnya Street of Dilijan in which juveniles were involved. During the argument two juveniles were stabbed, one of them, born in 2001, was inflicted heavy bodily damage and there was no need to hospitalize the other. He got appropriate medical aid and went home. Through investigation actual data were obtained that the person having committed the alleged crime is also a resident of Dilijan, born in 2002. Handing him under supervision was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
