A Board meeting of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia was held today under the chairmanship of Artur Poghosyan, Chairman of the Investigative Committee, during which Vazgen Avetisyan and Artur Nahapetyan, the newly appointed Deputies Chairman of the Investigative Committee were introduced to the staff.

Introducing the newly appointed Deputies Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Artur Poghosyan emphasized that Vazgen Avetisyan and Artur Nahapetyan have extensive work experience, they have started their careers as investigators,  they have also held leadership positions, have high professional and human qualities, have always been distinguished by professionalism, have recorded high performance indicators and are now ready to use their knowledge and experience to effectively resolve the issues facing the Investigative Committee. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee expressed hope that the results will not be long in coming.

Referring to Artur Melikyan, the former Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Artur Poghosyan expressed gratitude for the work done and wished him success.

Vazgen Avetisyan and Artur Nahapetyan, Deputies Chairman of the Investigative Committee thanked the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia for trusting the responsible position to them and assured that they will make every effort to ensure proper and comprehensive preliminary investigation, to enhance the reputation of the Investigative Committee among the public, to meet the public expectations.

At the end of the meeting the Chairman of the Investigative Committee awarded Artur Melikyan with a souviner watch.
