In the framework of the criminal case on 37 year-old woman’s death investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of inflicting her heavy bodily damage with a knife, as well as the motive were found.
 

It was earlier informed that on November 25 at 14:20 a call was received informing that A. Maghaqyan’s body, born in 1979, with a cut-pierced wound on the right thigh was found in one of the houses of Shengavit administrative district.
 

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district according to the Point 14 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code and investigatory actions of great volume were conducted to identify the person having committed the apparent crime, to find the motive.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was found that in her temporary residence the victim argued over personal matters with a man temporarily residing in the same house during which the latter stabbed A. Maghaqyan on the upper part of her right thigh with a cutting-piercing sharp item inflicting her heavy bodily damage dangerous for life. A. Maghaqyan died of the injury she had sustained.  
 

Inspection of the site was conducted, forensic medical, forensic biological, forensic finger print examinations were commissioned.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the man according to the Point 14 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code, detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
