Through investigation of the criminal case initiated in Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on banditry other counts were disclosed, as well. The persons having committed the alleged crime were identified. On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against four persons.  

In the result of investigatory actions of great volume conducted within the criminal case crimes committed by the group as well as by the members of the group separately were disclosed, the actions of each of them were personalized, criminal legal assessments were given.

Particularly, with the purpose of capturing someone's property in large amount by assault, 35 year-old resident of Vanadzor reached prior agreement with his friends – three residents of Lori, born in 1984, 1989 and 1987.

Pursuant to investigation data, on December 26, 2018 at about 21:00 the above-mentioned persons masked, under the influence of alcohol, armed with a gas pistol, a knife and a folding knife, with the purpose of stealing somebody else's property illegally entered the house of residents of Getap village of Vayots Dzor province who are the parents of the former girl-friend of one of them, beat them and demanded money and golden jewelry using violence dangerous for their life and health by using a knife and a pistol. Then they tied them in the bedroom with a sticky tape, stole money and other items and fled.

Besides, it was also found out that 35 year-old resident of Vanadzor reaching prior agreement with two of the above-mentioned friends, born in 1984 and 1989, on capturing someone's property by assault on December 12, 2018 at about 21:30 masked and with medical gloves assaulted the employee of petrol station operating on Spitak-Yerevan road, pointing the knife to his neck, threatening to use violence dangerous for life and health they demanded to give them the whole money available in the gas station. Being refused they checked the pockets of the employee's clothes, found and captured the money available with him and fled.

Besides, through investigation data were also obtained on hooliganism committed by 35 year-old resident of Vanadzor. Thus, on November 12, 2018 at about 13:00 with the purpose of visiting his wife, under the influence of alcohol he went to the latter's apartment situated in Vanadzor town. However, the wife did not open the door and required to go away. The man got angry and hit the apartment door, burnt the door threshold causing the wife pecuniary damage. Then he shouted and scolded his wife as well as other residents who had come out because of the noise, he also hit one of them with a head and pushed him down the stairs.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 35 year-old man according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 258, the Points 1 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 and the Points 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code. Charge was pressed against the men, born in 1984 and 1989 according to the Points 1 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 and the Points 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code. Charge was pressed against the man, born in 1987, according to the Points 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
